It's not a proper button. The "Attach a file" is right under the Write Comment box. Right under it!

Nope. The link she means isn't there. It's supposed to be right between the "back to discussions" button and the text-area you type a post into. But it ain't there.

Good news is that maybe the other theme didn't break the link. I still can't see "Attach a file " even with the default theme.
The only difference I can think of is that your log in access is the highest. Could there be some setting with regard to what access level that links can be seen by that could be causing it the issue?
Just wild guessing. -

PHEW. Yes, *flips switches a few times* Seems to be working now. Just adjusted some colors...a spot of CSS touch-up here and there--until LT says I have to redecorate. :)

I have severe astigmatism from childhood rubella. I do best with 1) white background, black text; 2) black background, white text, 3) black background, gold (#FAAC06) text. Anything else tends to give me migraines after awhile.

Found that I could set up a dev server on my local machine, so maybe now I won't drive y'all crazy with the itsty bitsy changes.

The stupid part is this is only an issue when I'm reading on a computer screen. Looking at graphics or reading from a book, this is never an issue.

Got logged out and the sign in screen asked for email/user name on the first line. It lied. It only wanted the email on the first line.

For Raet and others: I believe email notifications are ON by default. See your user name in the little panel on the right side? That's your profile page. Go there and look under your name/picture for "Settings." Clicky that baby and do checkboxes; save.
That's the same place you go to upload an avatar.
