Thanks for the sympathies. Now hubby has arrived in Scotland, the 'bucket list' appears just to be the one event of seeing Glasgow Warriors play! His brother is in good spirits though.
Cute photo Nan. What is it with cats and computers? Ours want to do the same. You're fortunate kitty stays on the cushion. We've tried that ploy but they won't settle for long and then still want to climb onto our laps :)

Little Mr. Kitteh *mostly* stays on the comfy spot. However, his head (or rear) will spill over onto the keyboard if he's getting board or wants to be petted. Most often, I'm typing and find a cat head laid to sleep on my left hand. He leaves it there even when I'm typing!
They were after a bug last night, both of them--and it was crazy-time, since it was a beetle thing that could fly, too. I thought they were going to pull a Simon's Cat and trash the office in hot pursuit.

Thank you for asking Terre. Yes the trip went very well. His brother is in good spirits and managing illness with alterations to diet and enzymes. Pete met up with lots of old friends who were also visiting his brother, and his brother was able to go to the match and stay for the whole game, which at one point during the week they didn't think he was going to be able to do.

Considering the number of times I've seen people decide to purchase something they saw a friend use well when the promos didn't make the character or whatever look like getting making promos you are happy with sounds quite important.

Yeah. On characters especially, lighting, pose and expression are crucial. I've passed over more purchases than you can shake a stick at based on poor showing in those categories.
So yay for good lighting, keep her butt out of the air and her finger out of her mouth and save the porno face for Renderotica. ;)

Seriously. The finger sucking and the mongoloid "I wanna grease your piston" porno-pout face have lost a lot of sales for a lot of vendors from me. It's such an immense turn-off that I just don't want to give them my money anymore. I don't buy anything made by Hamelin for similar reasons. His promotional imagery is tacky and repugnant to me. I'm actually embarrassed if anyone sees one of his ads on my computer -- they think I'm somewhere advertising amateur online porn.

Well, no. NO porno crap. Here's an example of the first page type I sent in for review. I loathe those fingers in the mouth, butt in the air, spread out on the floor crap- I skip those completely unless I see a pose set that has individual poses (arm, leg, hip, etc.) that can be used for other things. I have a few of those, and they work well for what I need.(this one Mark called "I'mma eatchew face" look. LOL)

Dumm dee dummm.... Finish verifying all of this weeks price changes including sending some fixes off to the warehouse. Finally get done and look at the clock. It's 12:35 on a Sunday which is both the 1st of the month and Super Bowl Sunday. Eeeep!

Tee hee hee! Good pose there. :D I might change the lighting a little to downplay the skin shinies and maybe use a more flattering hair that doesn't hide so much of her face (face morphs and skins are assets to be highlighted, after all).

I think, honestly, I'm tired of looking at her. Next time, though, I'll work on those. XD Here's a few more I added to the submission..Oh, and all of the renders are raw- even the thumbnail and advertisement banner.
