  • Backgrounds... Frames... So much to learn. I love this forum. Lovely, Dar.
    Suspiro ergo sum.
  • Frames are SO much fun it's easy to let them get out of hand--but Dar did it just right. Integrated, visible, just adding to the deliciousness of the image.

  • Hee! Such a cute demonish person, Wayii. I love the robodog rolling around.

Mav: Golden saint with golden armor? Neato.

    ...

Oh good grief, I just recognized the shirt. LOL! And there I was thinking, "Huh, cool shirt."

  • What do you use for your male serpent-folk (naga?)? I know there is the serpenta for V4, but for the guys?
  • Brilliant. Both the idea and execution ate great.

Wow! I somehow missed some posts in this thread. Master of Swords is a stunning piece, Grim. I love the way the framing integrates into the composition, the colours, style; everything !
  • Wayii : is that robo dog 'dead' and that's why the demonish guy looks so unhappy ? I like the way the dog's 'claws' kind of mirror the 'demon's' hands.

    Mav: Nice images as always.
  • Thank you very much everybody!

The Naga is for M4 actually and it is a Sixus Product that I got quite some time ago... I tweaked him a lot though, made his snake part longer for more balance and also the texture has been heavily edited... I loved adding the patterns, extra scales and all the colors... :)

  • A portrait of this character, his name is Andhera Chaya but he is called Chaya only. A few people at DeviantART requested to see a closeup of his facial features... so I made this one. :)

    image

  • Cool. The designs and scales were worth the effort you put into them. :)
  • Ditto Terre, and I like his face, it's interesting. :)

The texture of him was quite a challenge... but much fun. :)

  • I was piddling around and realized I hadn't had a Mikhail portrait done
in a while. Sans nails and with his natural blue eyes ...There ya go. I
would have drawn the hair in, but the hands hurt to much- so I used
layers from Heavenly Hair this time. *Smirk* Oh! Nano's jewelry for M4
along with SAV's Hot Men, RM's Real Eyes and Wilhelm's M4 texture used
    here.

The render is raw but for a shadow on the back end of the jeans where
he's pulling it out- blast thing didn't take one. Shadow, hair, font,
    boarder in post.

  • I love the wallpaper, definitely.

Unfortunately- I've gone through four renders of that little bas.....  *ahem* and each has either locked up by the hairline (twice, took the hair off and figured I'd just post it) or stopped at the blasted hipline.  I'll have to set it up with different settings for this poor dual core that's about had it and let it go overnight and tomorrow while at work.

*Grin!*  What I was able to get after playing with the materials on the shirt was purty durn cool.

  • Wow, Dar.... this is so oooooomnomnomnom... XD
  • ah, blue jeans guy again... it's the jeans that
make me think of the 70's. we all had those
button jeans, sometimes bell bottoms. the
boy modelling, as i mentioned on other thread,
was 16, had the same build but more muscular
shoulders, and had no shirt on. i think he had
been on one of the sports teams. none of the
other boys were willing to play mannequin and
be drawn. don't know why. i guess having a class
all sketching you from all angles must have been
    intimidating unless you enjoyed it.

anyway, that's an interesting render, grim.
that hair had to have been fun to do.

ah, i just remebered the other pic it reminded me of!
rick springfield poster, also mid 70's, when his was
20 something. only he looked really sweet and baby faced,
again, not the bad boy image. but same posture.
i'm thinking it was the jeans that made the boys look
that way, so they did not sing soprano ;)...

ok, more rambling from a coffee deprived being...

  • I missed my beloved elf, so there you go - a boring portrait of him, hahaha... The hair I was able to get done at work today... I just had to give the new tablet a try. =^.^=
