Maryland sounds similar to her as far as permits. The big difference is that you don't have to have a licensed contractor if you are living on the property you want to do some work on. Resident can build a fence, ect with just the license. However it still has to be able to pass code. Work that is just fixing things can be done by anybody as long as you have a permit from the city for the work. That's why a friend who knows how to roof (just fixing) was able to do ours years ago but we had to have a contractor build the fence(new construction).

Nope. For that, use the "Morphing Clothes" program to add the morphs to the clothing. One click, done, away you go. -

On reflection, it's probably not as intuitive as I make it out to be, I've used the program quite a bit and I'm used to it. However, it is most definitely worth the money. If you decide to get it and have problems using it, feel free to poke at me, and I'll walk you through it.

The "Wicket Wear" is looking fairly basic, to my eye, and is Genny-only, so us retro-die-hards are not in a position to enjoy that. ;)
I wish to complain that I do not have enough time to make mesh AND Poserize. Arrgh. If stuff in the household would just calm down a tad, that would be helpful.

ok... need to catch up. slept through the warzone, um, 4th of july helliday fireworks. i used to love them years ago, but not since so many head injuries have happened to me.

nanobot: i love trains! i loved amtrak. in the 80's i did a santa rosa, calif to
virginia trip and back. i loved it. got to schmooze with everyone, including
a man who was showing off how his granddaughter had gotten a part in a
movie with michael j fox. turned out to be back to the future. got to have
catfish for meals because the cook was really nice. :) got to celebrate my
25th birthday in 4 time zones. :) i wore my fuzzy slippers the entire ride
both ways, hopped between cars, loved the dome car, and kept saying,
'let's do lunch', to just about everybody :) it was so unreal because it was
like i could just be anything and i loved the train, any of them, even the
one we were stuck on in a delay. oh, and we played bingo for meals, but
i had a sleeper so my meals were included already. i gave my won meals to
people in regular seats. hey, you have to sit up for days on a train you'd sure
like a hot meal for free, right?
i'm guessing it's not quite so fun nowadays...

i read the country has 80% in drought. i have a suggestion, and i am not being
anything but serious here.

Well, they stay out of jail, right? And don't steal cars, sell drugs, stay drunk, or steal stuff from you to fence for spending cash. No babies out of wedlock or HIV from being sloppy about sleeping around. I hope?
They're smart, getting their educations, and give you a lot of grief because, yanno, they're young and know everything, of course. Sounds about right. :) And you're their mom, so how bad could they be, anyhow?

Funny thing... I've *always* wanted to dress up, it's one of the reasons I loved being part of several drama/acting groups in school, but I just never had a chance to do it. Now I can afford it, and have the time to do it too. I just hope I can pull off the costume I want, haha.And I live in NYC, remember? :-P I live *in* a crowd, hahaha.

I was at NYCC last year (as well as SDCC) promoting my comic. NYCC was far more fun and a lot more industry focused, which I wanted. San Diego has a buttload of CosPlayers, but NYCC had it's fair share too. It's a fun time. I really want to go back this year, but with the purchase of my home I'm kind of flat broke! Oh well, maybe next year.Hope you have fun Angelus. What costume are you trying for?

LT - I'm going to design my own version of a Lady Loki costume based on his Avengers movie outfit. I know there *is* already a Lady Loki, but I kinda like his outfit in the Avengers, so I want to base it on that. Sending out requests for price quotes as we speak, :) I want to attempt to make my own costumes for next time though. I think that's the fun part too, ^_^ If you do manage to go to NYCC, do let me know! I'd love to meet you, :D

It's kind of unlikely this year. I will miss going, as I made some good contacts last year and would love to meet up with them again. :\But big life decisions, like buying a home, cut into the fun stuff (though getting in and settling into the new home will be fun in and of itself).If I ever go again, I'll yelp. :)

Heh, I was out gallivanting around NYC yesterday for most of the day. Getting in touch with job ops and showing family about- we were all over the place. Tiring work, that, being a tour guide. We went from WTC to Central Park and back.

Yes, and yes we did. ;) It wasn't so bad out in the open, you boiled in the subway system however. Unless you found the few air vents all you could do was sweat bullets- even in the lower Mezz.
